Klaravich Stables, Inc.’s Feedback (Violence), given a 5-2 chance off an unassuming worktab, kept the Chad Brown express rolling with a powerful debut tally worthy of the ‘TDN Rising Star’ seal of approval Sunday. Sharing the early pacesetting duties in between foes through a :22.05 opening quarter, the $85,000 KEENOV weanling inched away along the bend. She came a bit wide into the stretch, but hit another gear when Irad Ortiz, Jr. shook the reins and immediately built up her advantage to score by eight lengths in 1:16.33.Takecharge Mirella (Take Charge Indy) completed the exacta.

Feedback’s score came one day after her stablemates finished 1-2-3 in the GI Beverly D. S. and 1-2 in the GI Arlington Million. Network Effect (Mark Valeski), another Klaravich colorbearer, broke his maiden by daylight in a similar race for males at the Spa Saturday.

Feedback’s dam Honest Answer (Tale of the Cat) was a $600,000 Barretts March juvenile purchase in 2002. She won her Del Mar debut that August for Bob Baffert and The Thoroughbred Corp., and was second in the following year’s GIII Railbird S. Honest answer produced Sweet Swingin (Street Sense), GSP, $118,370 in 2012 and Law Abidin Citizen (Twirling Candy), GSP, $185,285 in 2014 before selling for $48,000 at the 2015 Keeneland November Sale while carrying Feedback. She has since produced a Street Sense yearling filly and a Distorted Humor colt foaled Apr. 6. She was bred back to Street Sense.

A winning Medaglia d’Oro half to Feedback is responsible for multiple stakes winner R Kinsley Doll (Big Drama), and an unraced Empire Maker half-sister also produced a stakes-placed filly. Honest Answer is half to the likes of Canadian champion juvenile Truth of It All (Proud Truth) and MGISW I Ain’t Bluffing (Pine Bluff), who in turn is the dam of GSW/MGISP Acting Happy (Empire Maker). Another half to the dam produced long-winded MGISW Borrego (El Prado {Ire}).
