Tanking along in the hands of Maxime Guyon from the outset, the bay was allowed to move up to the leader Fly On the Night (GB) Equiano {Fr}) and eventually settled in a close-up second. Taking control with a furlong remaining, the homebred was beyond reach by the time Tourny emerged from her pocket but the winner gave the impression that she was comfortably holding her in the final yards.
