SLADE POWER BACK ON TRACK
Sabena Power’s Slade Power (Ire) (Dutch Art {GB}), forced to sit on the sidelines for yesterday’s G1 Haydock Sprint Cup after contracting a skin disease, is back in full training and being aimed for the G1 VRC Sprint Classic in Australia in November. The Eddie Lynam-trained 5-year-old won the G1 Diamond Jubilee S. and G1 July Cup before contracting ringworm, which caused him to miss some training.
“He’s in good form,” Lynam said. “He’s back in full work and he’ll be going into quarantine in a few weeks with a view to sending him to Australia at the beginning of October.”
