Slipper Winner Mossfun Retired

Mossfun (Aus) (Mossman {Aus}–Eye For Fun {Aus}, by Snitzel {Aus}), a winner of the 2014 G1 Golden Slipper S., has been retired according to Racing and Sports. Racing for Emirates Park No 2 Syndicate (MGR: H N Lootah) and trained by Michael, Wayne and John Hawkes, the bay had been winless in four subsequent starts this term since being spelled for nine months after her Golden Slipper win. During her juvenile season, Mossfun scored in the G2 Silver Slipper S. and G3 Widden S. both at Rosehill in addition to her Golden Slipper victory. Overall, her record stands at 9-4-2-0 and $1,959,606. Breeding plans are undecided.
