Trainer Freddy Head has identified the 1850-meter Prix d'Ispahan at Longchamp May 24 as the next port of call for his stable star Solow (GB) (Singspiel {Ire}), who earned the highest Timeform rating for a European-trained horse courtesy of his performance in the G1 Dubai Turf. “Solow is very well,” Head told Jour de Galop. “He arrived back in Chantilly Tuesday night and was very hungry this morning. There is a strong chance that we run him in the Prix d'Ispahan before Royal Ascot [where the grey will be targetting the G1 Queen Anne S.]” Head added that an Autumn campaign would also be on the cards and would likely include trips to the Breeders' Cup or Hong Kong.
