The legacy of the great mare Cavorting has entered a new chapter. We head to Stonestreet Farm to check in on two of her daughters, multi-millionaire and Grade I-winner Clairiere and stakes winner La Crete. The pair has joined their dam in transitioning from elite performers to Stonestreet broodmares.

The TDN paid a visit to Dell Ridge Farm to catch up with three-time Grade I winner Gina Romantica and meet her first foal. Farm Manager Des Ryan reports that the colt by Gun Runner is receiving such high marks that 'Gina' will return to the same sire in 2026.

Just F Y I will sell at Fasig-Tipton's Night of the Stars November 3, and the four-year-old Champion filly figures to attract a lot of attention. "She's four years old, she's a champion, she's by Justify, and she's in foal to Into Mischief," says Fasig's Boyd Browning. "The opportunity to buy a young champion mare in foal to the leading sire in America doesn't come along very often."

When Seth Klarman stretched for a yearling filly by Nyquist at the 2021 Keeneland September Sale, he paid $460,000, which trainer Chad Brown said was, "at the top end of what he goes for for yearlings." That filly, Randomized, went on to earn four times that amount on the track and now figures to be one of the star attractions at the November 3 Fasig-Tipton Night of the Stars when she sells as hip 137 in the EliTE consignment.

Reem Three is becoming a proper blue hen mare at Dalham Hall Stud as her offspring have thrived first on the racetrack and now as producers. At this year's Royal Ascot meet, she will be represented by Inisherin, a son of her daughter Ajman Princess, and Rosallion, a son of her other daughter Rosaline.

Lanwades Stud's Kirsten Rausing jokes that Alpinista is incapable of doing anything wrong and things were certainly flawless for the star mare as she produced her first foal, a filly by Dubawi.
