A year ago, with American Pharoah's Triple Crown bid on the line, all-sources handle was $135,790,321 on the day, with on-track wagering of $16,950,758 and off-track betting totaling $118,839,563. Wagering on the 2015 Belmont S. itself was $82,437,629. The last time the Belmont was conducted without a Triple Crown prospect was 2013 when all-sources handle was $88,528,542, on-track wagering was $10,769,369 and off-track betting totaling $77,759,173. Total handle on the 2013 Belmont itself was $51,872,013.
