Paul Fudge's Waratah Thoroughbreds, an active buyer at Tattersalls December, continued to add blue-blooded mares to its roster at the opening session of the Arqana Breeding Stock Sale. Waratah went to E350,000 for Insoumise (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}–Featherquest {GB}, by Rainbow Quest), a half-sister to Group 1 winner Plumania (GB) (Anabaa) and Group 2 winner Balladeuse (Fr) (Singspiel {Ire}) from the family of Groom Dancer, Falco, and this year's Arc winner Danedream (Ger).
