Glass Goes to $510K for Empire Maker Filly at KEESEP

Gary and Mary West continued to buy aggressively at the Keeneland September sale, going to $510,000 for an attractive bay filly by Empire Maker via bloodstock agent Ben Glass during the early part of Thursday's session. It was the most expensive of the couple's eight purchases thus far and they have accounted for $2.7 million in turnover. Consigned by Lane's End as agent for the filly's breeder Dell Ridge Farm, hip 886 is a daughter of Indian Snow (A.P. Indy), making her a half-sister to Morning Line (Tiznow), winner of this year's GI Carter H. and a future Lane's End stallion. The filly's second dam is dual Grade I winner November Snow (Storm Cat).
