Second-stage entries have also been revealed for the G1 Irish 2000 Guineas and 1000 Guineas, which take place on the weekend of May 21 and 22.

Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum's Aasheq (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}), who was runner-up to G1 Investec Derby favourite US Army Ranger (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) on debut at The Curragh last Sunday, is one of three new potential contenders for the colts' Classic. He has been joined among the entries by the Shadwell homebred Awtaad (Ire) (Cape Cross {Ire}), a dual winner for Kevin Prendergast, and the John Oxx-trained Alphonsus (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}), recent runner-up to Washington DC (Ire) (Zoffany {Ire}) in a listed race at Dundalk.

With a total of 63 entries, the market is headed by last season's champion juvenile Air Force Blue (War Front).

Four extra names have been added to the list for the Irish 1000 Guineas, including Cool Thunder (Ire) (Shamardal), a winner on her sole start last year for owner-breeder Hadi Al-Tajir and trainer Kevin Prendergast.

The David Wachman-trained Love Potion (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) is another to have run once and won once, having scored over a mile at Dundalk in December. She has been entered along with the Niarchos family's homebred Radiantly (GB) (Aussie Rules) and Qatar Racing' Little Avon (GB) (Makfi {GB}).

The two-day Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival also features the G1 Tattersalls Gold Cup, G2 Lanwades Stud S., G2 Weatherbys Ireland Greenlands S. and G3 Airlie Stud Gallinule S.
